Awarded NSERC Discovery

The news is in! I have just been awarded NSERC Discovery for the years 2011-2015 ($20k/year, 100%). The title of the awarded project is “Simplifying Resource Management in Wireless Broadband Networks”. Further details to follow.

Paper accepted in WNS@ICC’11

A follow up on the IWCMC’10 paper but with greater focus to per-connection performance has been accepted in the Wireless Networking Symposium in ICC’11.

IMT-Advanced: The next ten years

Together with Najah Abu Ali and Hossam Hassanein, will be presenting a tutorial on the evolution o IMT-Advanced in the next ten years. The tutorial will be presented at IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC’11) on Thursday June 9, 2011. You can find more about the tutorial here.
